Every product has a story.

-- Definition

The Product Tracking System (PTS) monitors every stage a product passes through -- from the moment it is produced to the end of its life in the user's hands -- using a serial number or QR code. Senkronix PTS manages the entire product lifecycle on a single platform, from production quality to after-sales service, from anti-counterfeiting to recall.

N° I -- Why PTS?

The product is sold.
But where is it now?

Most companies lose track of their products once they leave the factory. When a customer calls to report an issue, it takes minutes to identify the batch, production date and quality certificate. In a recall, it is unclear how many units sit with which dealer or customer. When counterfeits appear, separating them from genuine products becomes impossible. Product information lives on paper, in Excel or in people's heads -- not in a system.

The Product Tracking System dispels this darkness. The serial number or QR code printed on the production line becomes the product's identity. Packaging, storage, dispatch to the dealer, sale, customer registration, warranty activation, service history, returns -- every action is appended to the same identity. The customer scans the QR code and instantly learns whether the product is genuine, when it was manufactured and how much warranty remains. The company sees the full story of every product.

What value does PTS add?

  • Anti-counterfeiting -- A genuine product's QR reads only once; fakes are caught instantly
  • Warranty management -- Warranty starts automatically; customers activate it themselves
  • Recall -- Targeted batch-based recall; the location of every unit is known
  • Quality traceability -- Repeated faults within the same batch are detected quickly
  • After-sales service -- Technicians scan the QR and see the complete history
  • Customer database -- First direct contact with the end user -- streamed to CRM
N° II -- Modules

Defect rate, batch-based quality trend, sales-to-activation ratio, geographic distribution, life estimation.

N° III -- Technology and Integrations

QR, barcode, RFID.
Or add blockchain.

Product Tracking Systems differ in cost and functionality depending on the label technology used. Senkronix selects and deploys the most suitable technology together with the customer, based on the product type, budget and depth of traceability required.

Identity technologies

  • QR code -- The most common, inexpensive, readable from a phone; user-friendly
  • GS1 DataMatrix -- Small footprint, high data capacity; the standard for production-line labels
  • Barcode (Code 128) -- Classic linear barcode; low cost, fast reading
  • RFID (UHF / NFC) -- Contactless, remote reading, high-volume automatic reading
  • Hologram + QR combination -- Layered anti-counterfeit protection for premium products
  • Blockchain (optional) -- An immutable identity chain, especially for luxury and pharmaceutical products

Production and system integrations

  • Production line: Laser marking, inkjet printers, label-printing machines
  • MES / SCADA: Direct link with production execution and control systems
  • ERP: Logo, Mikro, Netsis, SAP -- two-way product/dealer/stock sync
  • CRM: The activating customer flows automatically into CRM, and engagement begins
  • Mobile app: End-user QR scanning, warranty activation, service request
  • Service network: Authorized service panel, technician mobile, parts tracking
N° IV -- Who is it for?

Wherever a product is a brand.

Scenario - 01

White Goods and Electronics

Activation, service history and parts-replacement tracking for products with long warranties. Integrated with the authorized service network.

Scenario - 02

Textiles and Apparel

Anti-counterfeiting is critical. Brand verification via genuine QR, seasonal tracking, batch-based return management.

Scenario - 03

Cosmetics and Fragrance

High risk of parallel imports and counterfeits. Batch/expiry tracking, authenticity verification, geographic analysis.

Scenario - 04

Food and Beverage

Traceability regulations, expiry, allergen declarations, cold-chain monitoring, rapid recall capability.

Scenario - 05

Automotive Spare Parts

OEM/OES identity, vehicle-part compatibility lookup, warranty start, in-service part-replacement records.

Scenario - 06

Luxury and Premium Products

Blockchain-backed immutable identity, counterfeit detection, authenticity verification in secondary markets.

N° V -- Frequently Asked

Clear questions,
clear answers.

What is the difference between PTS and ITS?+
ITS (Pharmaceutical Tracking System) is regulated by Turkey's TİTCK, mandatory only for pharma, and reports to a government web service. PTS (Product Tracking System) is for any sector, under the company's own control, and tailored to business needs. PTS is highly flexible; ITS is a regulatory requirement.
How secure are QR codes? Can they be copied?+
Simple QR codes can of course be copied. Senkronix PTS uses cryptographically signed QR codes -- each one can only be verified in our database. When the same QR is scanned twice, the system warns "this code has already been activated". A hologram+QR combination also blocks physical copying. If needed, a blockchain-based identity system provides even stronger protection.
How much intervention is required on the production line?+
Minimal intervention is enough. If there is an existing label printer or laser marker, we feed serial numbers into it to get started. If not, a small station can be added to the line. It is designed not to slow production -- runs smoothly up to 60-120 units per minute.
What does the end user need?+
The end user simply scans the QR code with their phone camera. A web page opens and the warranty is activated. Optionally, they are redirected to the brand's mobile app, which adds loyalty programs, re-purchase, accessory recommendations and other value-added features.
How does a recall work?+
The affected batch or lot is flagged in the system. Products from the same batch are listed by dealer, user and geography. Activated products trigger automatic SMS/e-mails to the user; unactivated units trigger dealer-level return flows. Recall progress is tracked on a dashboard.
When is blockchain mode necessary?+
Not mandatory. However, for luxury products (watches, jewelry, high-value brands), pharmaceuticals and artworks -- anywhere immutable traceability is critical -- a blockchain layer is recommended. It also creates value for authenticity verification in the secondary market. It adds cost but offers a significant trust advantage.
How is pricing structured?+
Project-based pricing -- no per-product license. Price is determined during Discovery based on product diversity, annual production volume, number of integrations and label technology. Label printing (QR printers, label stock) is a separate line item. If blockchain mode is selected, additional infrastructure cost is added.
